About Annie Zheng Yi 伊 铮
Zheng Yi (Annie) was born in Beijing (1968). She studied Economy and International Business & Trade at UIBE in Beijing. She has more than 15 years of successful business experience at senior level in both China and Europe. She has worked for several multinational companies such as Unilever (China), Sara Lee|Douwe Egberts and SC Johnson. It is her passion to successfully connect European and Chinese enterprises by using her professional knowledge and experiences in bridging the culture and business differences.
At the age of 24, She has became the Chief Representative for Crosby Asset Management in China searching and managing UK private investors’ JV projects. At age of 27, She worked at Unilever China as National Supply Chain Manager implementing Unilever standard, and gained rich experiences of doing business with Chinese partners and suppliers. Since 1997 Annie lives and works in Europe and have held several senior management positions in sourcing and finance in the region of EMEA and worldwide.
Since 2005, Annie joint PMC Connect, a China-Europe business development and project management company, as co-owner and director. Since then PMC Connect has enlarged its business network in South East Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan and P.R. China) and in Europe. PMC Connect provides services to its European customers in China as well as for Chinese multinationals in Europe.
Next to PMC connect, Annie is the director of Ming Translations, a high quality Chinese language translation, interpretation and communication bureau.
Since September 2010 she is co-founder and Chairman of China-Europe Growth Foundation aimed at helping Chinese International students in Europe to increase their employability and cross-cultural experiences.
