About Vladimir Djurovic
Vladimir founded Labbrand in 2005. He has assisted over 70 brands to understand the Chinese market, identify their positioning, and execute their strategy by overseeing the development of effective brand naming, compelling visual identities, and aligned brand engagement and implementation.
For both foreign and domestic companies looking to build a strong brand in China, Vladimir provides actionable insights based on comprehensive brand models and systematic methodologies. Vladimir also advises domestic and JV enterprises on their entrance into foreign markets throughout Asia and Europe. Vladimir has a special flair for retail, previously working for Galeries Lafayette as their Chief Representative for China.
Passionate about branding, he has an innovative mind, a great instinct for trends, a scientific approach, and an accurate ability to diagnose branding problems. He regularly animates training and engagement workshops for companies and organizations in China and Europe.
Vladimir has appeared on China television as an expert on CBN Brainstorm TV show, accessible to 600 million viewers. CBN, or China Business Network, is a China-focused financial information channel.
He presents at events throughout China and Europe on Branding, Healthcare, Luxury Goods, Entrepreneurship, and more. Vladimir has been invited to give lectures at prestigious universities such as SKEMA Business School and Tongji MBA.
Vladimir authored a section on China Brands in the book “Histoire de Marques”, also appearing on the cover of the book. He is regularly interviewed for magazines in China and Europe for his expertise on brands and the Chinese market.
Vladimir graduated from the prestigious Ecole Centrale de Paris as well as Shanghai Jiaotong University, holding a masters degree in Applied Mathematics and Management Science and Engineering. Vladimir’s education and his previous work in Société Générale in Paris has endowed him with expert analytical abilities. Vladimir speaks fluent French, English, Mandarin, Russian and Serbian.
